Autistic Boy Fails Exams And GetsThe Most Unexpected Letter From School

An 11-year-old autistic boy, Ben Twist, failed his SAT exams, but teacher Ruth Clarkson of Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College wrote him a touching letter. He tried his absolute best but he didn’t get results he had hoped for. His teacher had some wise words for the boy…

Talents aren’t measured in tests, she went on to say, and Ben has many talents. For instance, he has artistic talents, athletic talent, music talents. He is kind, continues to become more independent, and more. When Gail Twist, Ben’s mother read the letter, she was in tears. She was so touched by the letter that she took a picture of it and posted it on Twitter, “These tests only measure a little bit of you.”
