What’s in a name? A lot, according to one man who would send out 50 and 100 resumes each day on Craigslist. He never got any response from potential employers in the three months of his job search. Frustrated and unable to understand, he ran a little experiment that focused on his name. This would help him determine why he was failing at finding a job.
So, José removed the “s” in his name, applying as “Joe.” He sent his “updated” resume to the same job listings as before. He was shocked as to what happened next.
